ANZ announced it reached an agreement with ING Group to acquire ING Group’s 51% shareholdings in the ANZ-ING wealth management and life insurance joint ventures in Australia and New Zealand for A$1,760 million.

Indian carrier Jet Airways announced that shareholders meeting approved the issuance of additional capital up to USD 400 million.
Jet Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world.The company has 55 aircraft, comprising Boeing 737s, eight ATR-72 500s, three Airbus 340-300Es and one Airbus 330-200.
Shares of the company declined Rs 1.1, or 0.35%, to settle at Rs 311. The total volume of shares traded today at the BSE was 286,986.
Nomura Holdings Inc. aims to expand its bond-related operations in India after being named a primary dealer on Thursday by the Reserve Bank of India, a first for a Japanese financial institution, Nikkei business daily reported.
